Crafting South African Pinotage: Grape Crushing

Grown in the Western Cape region of South Africa. Surrounded on three sides by mountain ranges, the Breede River Valley is responsible for a large portion of the country's total wine production.
Pinotage, is South Africa's signature varietal. Created in South Africa, it is a cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsaut (was Known as 'Hermitage'). The grapes have a high tannin nature and produce a deep red varietal wine with smoky, earthy flavors with notes of bananas and tropical fruit.
Be one of the first to produce an amazing South African wine right here in the U.S. at Grapes N' Barrels.
